Anna Dec
My fascination with the human body and desire to understand how to improve health performance led me to pursue education in physiotherapy.
Shortly after my graduation from university, I registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. I have successfully treated a variety of injuries including back and neck pain, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot pain as well as acute and chronic sport injuries.
I continued upgrading my qualifications by becoming a Pelvic Floor Therapist and discovered a keen interest in treating people with persistent pain.
As a healthcare practitioner I believe in a patient centered approach. I encourage my patients to be actively involved in their rehabilitation process through goal setting, balancing muscle dysfunction and teaching self-management strategies for optimal recovery.
In my practice I combine education and health coaching, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, functional training, and individually tailored exercise programs to restore and maximize client function.
Outside of the clinic, you can meet me running after my 3 children, swimming, biking, and enjoying outdoor activities.
