Elaine Ruz
Registered Physiotherapist | Owner of UniPhysio As the founder of UniPhysio and a licensed physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience, Elaine Ruz plays a leading role in helping patients find relief from chronic pain and restore function, particularly in complex areas like the jaw, face, and neck. Her compassionate, hands-on approach is rooted in evidence-based care, with a strong focus on treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and myofascial pain using manual therapy and BIOFLEX laser therapy. Elaine began her career in Brazil, completing her residency at the Association for Assistance of Disabled Children (AACD), where she worked with pediatric patients with physical disabilities. After moving to Canada in 2014, she joined West Park Healthcare Centre, specializing in neurological rehabilitation and joint replacement recovery. In 2015, Elaine opened her own clinic in Toronto, treating over 1,000 patients with TMJ disorders and facial pain. In 2023, she expanded her practice and established UniPhysio in Oakville, where she leads a multidisciplinary team offering advanced physiotherapy and massage therapy in a supportive, welcoming environment. Elaine's areas of expertise include: • TMJ Disorder • Myofascial Pain Syndrome (facial pain) • Cervical spine conditions (neck and shoulder pain) • Hip and knee replacement physiotherapy • BIOFLEX laser therapy She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Parana North University (Brazil) in 2004 and is a registered physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Elaine speaks both English and Portuguese. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, cooking, and exploring creative crafts.
Patricia Oliveira
Registered Massage Therapist Patricia plays a vital role in helping individuals regain movement, reduce pain, and restore function, whether they’re recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or simply aiming to improve their overall wellbeing. Her hands-on, holistic approach reflects decades of experience across multiple disciplines, grounded in a genuine passion for patient care. She earned her degree in physiotherapy from the Federal University of Pernambuco in Brazil in 1999 and later expanded her expertise with specialized training in Osteopathy and Pilates. For over nine years, Patricia ran her own unit within a physiotherapy network called ITC, gaining extensive experience in treating spine-related conditions and complex musculoskeletal issues. After moving to Canada, Patricia earned a diploma in Business Marketing from Seneca College (2019) and later graduated in Massage Therapy (2023). She also served as an instructor at Medix College, further deepening her clinical and teaching experience. Her areas of expertise include: • Spine conditions and degenerative disc disease • Back, neck, shoulder pain, and headaches • Carpal tunnel and plantar fasciitis • Digestive issues in adults, children, and babies • Brazilian lymphatic drainage Patricia is fluent in English and Portuguese and brings a warm, personalized approach to every session. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, cycling, exploring nature, traveling, and learning about new cultures.

Sienna Yoon
Registered Physiotherapist Sienna’s role as a physiotherapist is centered on empowering patients to take charge of their recovery. By combining clinical expertise with personalized exercise programs and education, she helps individuals manage pain, regain function, and build confidence in their bodies. Her patient-centered, empathetic approach is rooted in a deep commitment to wellbeing and long-term health. She holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from Western University. Sienna has gained valuable clinical experience across neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, and sports medicine. Dedicated to professional growth, Sienna has completed specialized training in: • Vestibular & Concussion Therapy (University of Toronto) • Pelvic Health Therapy – Level I (Level II in progress, expected July 2025) • Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia (SCATM) • MAPclass Level I – Movement Analysis Practice Sienna’s unique path into physiotherapy began as a Korean medical interpreter, an experience that sparked her passion for healthcare and shaped her culturally sensitive, communicative approach to treatment. She is fluent in English and Korean, allowing her to connect with a broad and diverse range of patients.
Laura Jaramillo
Physiotherapist Assistant | Bioflex Laser Therapy Technician As a Physiotherapist Assistant and Bioflex Laser Therapy Technician, Laura plays a key role in promoting physical wellbeing by helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve their overall quality of life. Her work supports effective recovery and long-term health, especially for those dealing with musculoskeletal conditions or sports-related injuries. Laura is a licensed physiotherapist in Colombia, where she earned her degree from CES University in Medellín in 2020. She also holds a Master’s degree in Pediatric Physiotherapy from the same institution. Her professional background includes extensive experience treating both pediatric and adult patients, with a strong focus on musculoskeletal rehabilitation and sports therapy. Committed to continuous learning, Laura stays current with advancements in physiotherapy and is actively working toward obtaining her physiotherapist license in Ontario. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient community.
